    I actually think this was the 1941 celebration, but I’m guessing. I am away from the computer this week so can’t post the more standard shot. Hitler had the leather coat on for this one. There is also a shot of an earlier celebration before the Ek “insert” filled the area under the stairs.

            Actually a quick search brings up a lot .

            I see now that the staircase is curved where the soldiers are standing ... just minor changes over the years .
            A 1943 short movie exist also . This ceremony was held every year 1940 for sure maybe earlier .
            Both crosses were used : Imperial and 1939 style .
            Bottom picture shows date 1940 ... pic in the center probably 1941 as some one mentioned ??

                Not sure about the center pic, but the ones with the staircase are the Zeughaus (Royal Armory) on Unter den Linden - now the German Historical Museum.
