Around 200 EUR should be fair.

For what I learned now, is that there is a difference in post war RK´s and that the quality of an early Souval RK with 800/L58 Silver Frame was better than the later ones.
IMO this also makes a difference in current values, if you talk about prices, you should also mention what kind of cross it is

Here was such a Souval sold, this is just to give an idea about the pricing of such pieces.

It was sold immediatelly, because it is a really nice one.

To me a little scary... in 50 years the ”rounder” will be consider an early post WWII cross... In the poll ”how many RK you have?” I didn’t even considered my 1957er...
          Regards,
          Mats

The only bummer about the Souval RK is the low swastika, otherwise they look pretty good.

Hi I'll also jump in om the Souval bandwagon, a lot of people hate them, but just as many don't, They are an interesting subject in their own right, I have a number and they look perfectly presentable, and growing in monetary value, a few of mine for interest

one early none magnetic Grand Cross, two knights crosses, one early, one later, the ols are the same, just for photo purposes, KC case early souval deluxe version

It’s actually really good to discuss them because then those who are looking for the real deal know what look out for. It’s the same with S&L B frames and beyond. I can well understand the anger of people over the fact that these are passed off as real. I like them, but I know what I’m buying.

Very nice collection of Souval RK‘s and GK. I‘d love to see more pics of the unmagnetic GK - as you will know it‘s a very rare item
I‘m happy to have one in my collection as well.

                    Best regards,
                    Alex

                        Fantastic cross

By the way, the ribbons used by Souval were supplied by Karl Loy

                        Regards,
                        Alex

Hi Alex Thanks, Interesting snippet of information about the ribbon supplier, was he a wartime supplier also or just postwar?

The Karl Loy Bandweberei GmbH of Munich was a major wartime - as well as postwar supplier.

Very nice crosses! Question: How much do the early none magnetic Grand Cross weigh?

Souval made GK‘s in general are rather light compared to for example the heavy S&L GK‘s.
My unmagnetic Souval GK weighs 36g.

                                Regards,
