EK 1 for review- opinions much appreciated!

    Hello all,

Here is an EK 1 that has been in my collection for a few years. Being new to this forum (and a brand-new association member ). I took a good look at the Floch fakes guide, as well as the fakes gallery for the EK 1 and didn't see this particular maker mark and cross shown.

Its weight is 19.80 grams and it measures 43.80 mm square.

It is maker marked "100" (which I believe is Rudolf Wachtler und Lange) on the inside of the pin, and it appears to be an "A" type pin. The maker's mark is a bit difficult to see, but I have photographed it to the best of my ability.

Also the catch looks like it might have repaired/replaced at one point.

What is the consensus on this one?

    Thanks as always!

Very nice 100! Catch is indeed repaired but that is not that uncommon for worn crosses.

            Darth,
Welcome to the forum. In the future you should post up your crosses in the crosses forum. You'll find it directly above this sub forum.
