This is a first with me for a 1939 EK1 screw back iron cross in that the set up is very much like that of WWI first class screw back iron crosses. The cross is flat and the disc slightly convexed. The retaining screw is welded to another slightly convexed and scalloped disc, then all pieces have been nickle silver plated. It is totally unmarked (any thoughts?).

Well, I actually figured out who the maker was of this cross myself.
I thought that the beading looked awfully familiar so I checked it with one of my crosses that I thought it resembeled. Sure enough, it is an unmarked B.H. Mayer (26). The beading, swastika, and date numerals are an identical match to one another.
Case solved!
