    Chaplain's Cross

I have a cross / crucifix, that has a swaz on the back and is supposed to be from a Chaplain . I can't upload pictures, but if someone could show me one, I could compare them. It cam with a bunch of other WW2 German stuff. Thanks, BB

The first pictures on his behalf :

    My take on this :
Now myself - have not dealt with them much - --- this is not a Chaplains Cross in my opinion .
I lived in Austria/Germany many years .... I have seen something close to it ... But only on a Grave Cross as a add-on !
The workmanship and material is not correct for any clergy to wear .... Alu , German silver or Nickel .

The corrosion suggest it has been outside . Oh yes .... one more important thing -- the wreath with swastika would never be
attached facing to the back !! From the design it could have been on the front at one time – the space is there .
If it was removed – why even put it back one at all ??

    Just my 2 cents :

And this might be of interest :
