      Good pics, Roy!

What were your impressions of the piece?

        Hi George,

I haven't handled one of these before, but I can say that the finishing quality is excellent.
What is significant about this piece, is that I learned about it well before Dietrich unveiled his "7" on the forum.

          Hi Roy,

          Any story behind this piece?

            Hi Roy!

Nice find! And good to know that it pre-dates my "7-revelation"... but I think one can savely say, that the "7" is not applied after assembly at all.
Any other 'story' that comes with the cross (not that it would really count...)

Sorry, no stories to go with it, although the case it came in looked pretty convincing.
I could see no evidence that the "7" was added after assembly.
Dietrich, how does the font compare to yours?

It is tough to compare but I think so.

Roy, did you have occasion to ask about having Oaks attached to it when aquired...?
                  Regards,

                    Hi Dave,

Very interesting that you should ask
Yes, there were 900 21 oaks attached. I don't recall if the owner said if the oaks came with it or not.
I have mental blindness when it comes to oaks, but I did note that the "i" in silber was dotted.

                      Roy,

do you happen to know or could you find out when and where from the current owner did buy the cross?

                          Roy, are you sure?
SiLBER on a 900 21 set of oaks?
I thought the only used that on the L/50 pieces...

My "rounder " came with oaks as well

                          Regards,

                            Roy,

I'm pretty sure that it was L/50 if you saw the SiLBER and could remember it. Unless, of course, the oaks are fake.... and were stamped 900 21 AND SiLBER.

But, anyway, fake or real oaks don't make the cross fake or real. If it would be so easy, Brian could attach his 900 L/50 SiLBER oaks to the Rounder and make it real . And neither does a 800 65 loop a Rounder a Klein & Quenzer.

Sorry Ben, my original post said L/50 SiLBER

I edited it to 900 21 but forgot to delete SiLBER

I got the two confused because I was looking at two sets of oaks yesterday and couldn't remember which set were on the RK (the owner corrected me via email).
