Wow! Congrats on your find. My RK was found a similar way. It was in a large, old coffee can in an attic from a vet's house with a number of other awards and medals. Makes you wonder how many other finds are out there waiting to be discovered. -Ger

I wanted to share this group for a few reasons, you just don't find lots like this every day with all of the items coming back together from the same vet with the capture paper.
All the items were taken straight from Steinhauer & Ludenscheid, the family remembers the vet saying he took these items from the "factory".
Yes the Mothers Cross is zinc and I'd be happy to sell it, make me a fair offer and it's yours.
I'll add more later, I have to get to work.

I can´t recall that I have ever seen a RK d KVK marked "4". A rarity for sure! Very nice!
It would be very interesting if you could present photos (front and back) of all the awards in the box.
