There is NO proof of re-commenced actual new production in the immediate postwar period. Sale of leftover completed stock? Yes. Sale of items assembled from leftover original parts? Yes (but almost always detectable from the quality of assembly.) The rest is BS.

Ok so that was last month, I have to admit it's not always like this and that was one of the best months ever for landing high profile items.
I was also offered one of Hitlers tapestries but they are shopping it around and want over 100k, this item will probably show up at the MAX since they live in Pennsylvania.
There were a lot of other pieces in some of these lots, but these were the exceptional items.
There were 5 SS armbands in the one group, all being tunic removed with paper RZM tags.
The only item I was unable to purchase was the Leistungsrune.

                    Nice find Eddie

Like Patrick, I would also like to know what the date is the vet came back. Too bad he is not around to tell us how he acquired all these items, and exactly when.

If its not too much trouble, would love to see the reverse of the CCC. Its an S&L no doubt, but just interested to see the reverse hardware setup.

                    Thanks

                    Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks Eddie, much appreciated. Typical late-war fluted pin and sheetmetal hinge, which is what I would expect from late war or early postwar S&L production.

                                Thanks
