Re-painting the Crosses

I've got large experiece in restauring antique items, and in many cases I've seen items ruined by the hand of pseudo-experts, including items in museums. When I talk with the staff of a museum, my advice is always to left the items "as is" if they have no specialiced curators for it. A bad restauration always ruin the historical value.
