Ubergrosse...

Why exactly would they attempt an ubergrosse, to what end?

I know there isn't a connection, but it has always seemed to me that these RKs were "this company's" attempt at an Ubergross EK which they turned into an RK. The soldered loop being something of an afterthought.

Obviously there is no connection between makers, but it would be interesting to know why this company went in this direction and all the other RK makers made the loop integral with the frame. Great photos.

A thought from long ago because it looked as though these had a separate Ose, but that is not the case. The half loop is part of the frame.
