Not to make you feel bad. But absolut not the same. If you had the other
cross in hand you would see a big difference.
The other badge have received a so called frosting. You will see the
old age patina under the frosting.
But yes Iron Crosses do have different patina. Do to matrial used and how they where stored. But an untouched piece would never look as yours do now.
The cross have lost value and is less desirable.
But done is done injoy the cross as it is now.

Nicolai, thanks for responce. I bought cross not to sell, so I have not lost anything, don`t care about the price, I have other crosses, all untouched, with original very nice patina. Would love to have one with shiny frame and with original factory polishing. Now I have it.
