After you collect for a long time, it's rare to see something new. Sascha at woeschler-orden.de sent me these photos for an opinion.
I believe this 1914 EK2 is a Rettenmaier L59, made 1939-1941(ish). It clearly uses the same core that Rettenmaier used for their WWII-made 1914 EK1s, and I believe the frame is also a Rettenmaier.
Boerger L/57 also used this core in their WWII-made EK1s and EK2s, but the shiny paint and Rettenmaier frame leads me to believe it's not a Boerger. Of course, Boerger remains a possibility.
