I think NO !!! ... and I think that the cross of Japanese signature on a pin presented in the book Dietrich/Simpson is not war-time.
But as always, it's just IMO

here is my Japanese made ww2 ek1, someone has post war stamped it with a 50 to the pin- 500 euros or best offer....

Dietrich and George unfortunately made a fairly big error in including what is actually a common and well known fake of the EK1 in their book as a Japanese cross, guess they were distracted by the Kanji.

The other crosses posted with the unusual 3 in the date are what I would expect and believe to be genuine Japanese made crosses.

The others shown have probably nothing to do with Japan and certainly nothing to do with WW2.

boch- I think something may have been lost in the translation- that was sarcasm for people posting garbage claiming it as real.... the cross is not for sale and certainly not for 500e- read the rest of my post and I hope that will be clear.....

                Hi Patrick,
Maybe I'm wrong you understand. Sorry.

I wanted to say, that for the cross of Japanese signature on a pin, I would not pay anything because for me it is not a cross made in Japan... It's all
