Paraphrasing a popular book (and movie):
Husband, leaning across kitchen table and saying to wife in a hushed undertone: "I want to get the Knight's Cross".
Wife, in reply: "Why? It's just a hunk of expensive metal!"
=============
Time to step up to the plate and run with the big dogs, to mix metaphors.
Would some knowledgeable forum members be so kind as to point me in the right direction on some research materials to study before embarking on the hunt for the right piece? Advice?
I hear the book "The Iron Time " mentioned often; Is this useful? I'll also search the archive.
Thank you all!
