Well GCA is not any longer what it once was...

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Hope you understand, that I don't like Hans, because he was Moderator at GCA and now to read this, put him more and more in the right light! I also ask him for some KVK1, if he could lend me for a photo-session, but he was very rude and refuse it! In my opinion he is like a parasite, do nothing to bring us forward only to find his advance on cost of the commodity! But beuwulf is the complete opposite, he like to find out if this KVK1 is authentic or not and send my this KVK1! OK, to see the L/12 KVK1 it is a ggod argument against this first shown KVK1!
But as I receive the KVK1 from beuwulf, I'm more and more for an authentic and very early KVK1 maked L/65!!! If you see the KVK1 from Martin, posted at GCA, you see the same oak leaves crest design what is used for Juncker and S&L = Lüdenscheid! The only different to Juncker and S&L is the grained background-structure! A lot of EK1 maker does not produce there own KVK1 and gave them to a sub-supplier! There are a lot of arguments that K&Q, BHM and W&L use a sub-supplier! Even for EK1 Juncker and Godet use sub-supplier!!! So it means that this KVK1 must not always been produced by the original maker!

Ok, you can make your own opinion ;-) But fakes like Floch or postwar created fakes should have a reasonable Penetration rate! So it could be that this early produced a batch for L/65 and Juncker!

What is the reason, I'm more for this direction? I know a lot of fakes and very rare KVK1! This first shown KVK1, has all signatures for an authentic early KVK!!!

Here two Pictures of the obverse! Hope you can see the typical early signature, that the core is copper and silver coated!!!

Here it goes again, somewhere I realized that this answer would come, it does not matter what evidence you present.

Be careful what you write on GCA if you question them, you become expelled, that I just became.

If have seen very much KVK1 and EK1, but not only on pictures. I had the most variant in my hand and study them on every details. As Quality Engineer for Fasteners I know a lot of forming, stamping, plating and coating processes. I'm also Auditor for my supplier base on CQI9, 11 & 12. It is not only the design I'm study it is also the finish and material. I think that a faker will not go for very expensive production steps and make only for very view L/65 marks a marking tool.

                      - 1st process, using copper as base material
                      - 2nd step silver plating
                      - 3rd construct an maker mark tools for only a view crosses!
                      - 4th is using a well known & authentic pin setup

It is not the typical finger print of a fake supplier.
