Spanish Cross in Bronze CEJ

Brian, the guy who sold this cross, Martin aka "Liquide", assured me it was 100% original and that is clearly not the case.

If he had bought this fake himself from a dealer then he would be entitled to a refund and would be able to refund me. However, he refuses to discuss it with me and would not even take it back for half the price I paid.

IMO, members like Liquide who can act in this way have no place on our forum. Or maybe my principles of fair play and honesty are outdated and I should leave this hobby.

I agree Stan that the silence is very suspicious. The fact he refuses to even discuss the matter with you is disgraceful and certainly not in the spirit of collecting in general and this forum in particular. This is a totally different issue about refunds and guarantees which I think some people are missing the point about.
We all have been stung but the fact that this person refuses to disclose were he got it from and help track it back to the source is indicative of a lack of honesty.
I know from threads that you have posted that you have collected for many years and have some wonderful pieces, please don't let this bad experience put you off the hobby.

Stan hears determined not to collect. He's just mad. I always wanted to stop to collect if I paid back in 1000 euros for a copy. But then one lehrnt also. That was my energy too Lehrner about Spain crosses.

Wow that one is a real looker. But... On these bronzes I want to see a much bigger photo. Details immediately around the swazzi seem a bit thin.

Nein. Only the OBverse for judgment.

It's a fake and I base this upon the "cut-out" swastiikas which aren't cut out by hand at all but moulded to appear cut out by hand.

Just my opinion.
