Gentlemen : After reading these CEJ maker mark posts with great interest ... if I may add here something that might be of interest .

A fake CEJ mark is being used on SS buckles . A confirmed older fake Overhoff marked buckle is now suddenly showing up with this fake Juncker mark instead .
The strike appears shallow on this hard steel buckle - on softer metals the strike could be deeper .
The scary part is that this fake mark can be applied to any original award !!
Wish I had a better picture of it .

Anyway, that's just obviously not true. You can see it on plenty of other items, like Hindenburg crosses and sleeve insignia, and others.

          Douglas,

Juncker's primary business was buckles, helmets, insignia, etc. So it wouldn't surprise me to see a good CEJ mark on a buckle. Obviously not on a fake, but still...

Trevor ... I have the same Hinderburg medal and the C being the main difference .
In this case it is easy when the SS buckle is already a fake the CEJ is post war also . Juncker never made SS buckles but a lot of other medal excessories .
That 1912 patch is neat ... with the hidden mark on the front side .
