EK1 Meybauer?

Hi guys, am I right in thinking this is a good L/13 Maybauer? The stamp on the pin is not the deepest.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The - 7 - or L/13 mark are often soft shallow struck and there for weak and incomplete ... why this is we do not know .

Yes, Meybauer is a good quality maker with a poor quality stamp

I agree with Nick. IMO, this type came out farther down the line, but an "aesthetically pleasing" looking Cross nonetheless. Nice piece and here's mine for comparison.

That " 7 " strike is the best I have seen - Robert ! ( Tuesday morning first strike !)
They are predominantly weak - partial or lob sided .
