    EKII Juncker Schinkel, Ziemer spange...

These just arrived from Holland today (thanks, Ben) and wanted to share them. A beautiful EKII Juncker Schinkel (brass core) with Type 'A' or '1' '39 Juncker core, and a buntmetal Ziemer spange on a very nice cast core 1914 EKII. I might add that the 1914 ribbon is full-length.

Very delighted with both pieces, especially the Schinkel.

Interesting Juncker EK2 with inside corners ontop the Swastika like the EK1 I have .

The core in the one Trevor has is proper proportions to fit well in the frame .
Now the EK2 Robert has here (and a EL1 I have) are very odd in the sense that a core was put in that does not fit -- and more puzzling that no attempt made to make it fit - some thing simple like filing the corners ?? -- and send them out as quality workmanship ?? ( Disgruntled workers last day on the job ?)
This one here is only the 4th one I have seen - not many around ... slipping through quality control ?

Brass? I'd say zinc. Never saw one of these with a brass core anyway.
