The KC was awarded to a Heer NCO in September 1944, later he became officer. There are some papers with the KC which give proof of origin.Attached Files

The ribbon is 'only' a IC 2 - ribbon and, yes, it is very long. I have no clue but maybe the recipient wore the cross with the reverse in front at some OdR-meetings?
There is some paperwork with the cross which gives proof of origin and there is also a photograph of the soldier with the KC in wear which shows the characteristics of a JUNCKER KC. But again: Unfortunately the question where the 'real ribbon' is cannot be answered.
