What is the mark on the 107 ? A flaw or a punch mark for alignment or something ??

Is it on the EK2 107's ?

It looks too intentional to be a flaw. It could be a riibon ring alignment mark (if "107" used the same frames for their EKs 1 and 2). Unfortunately I don't have a Carl Wild EK 2 on hand to examine.

I did a search on these EK1 marked 107, and found about 5 of these crosses. All have this dot at the bottom frame.

Oh yeah, it's definitely there. It's a characteristic to look for with this maker.

Marcus,in answer to your PM...no my case is not EXACTLY the same as Henri's,mine does not have the indented line running round the insert obverse.Also my case holds a 65 mm EK1 not a 107,here are some pics of the case inside and out.

I just pulled the inner paper up and there is a number, but the glue holding the paper is right on the number
