    Bad L/19 EK1?

Not the pin normally found on L/19 crosses. And there is a interesting beading flaw.
I assume this is bad, right?

I agree with the others, it's a bad fake.

A common fake from about 10 years ago. Check the fake crosses section for others of this type. The top/bottom taper on the pin is the easiest way to pick them.

Have the others also been from the same seller as this one was... jar**boy?
I talked to him once and he said that he always gets his militaria stuff checked out by a known dealer in Sweden before he puts them up for auction.

                      Hello all,

and don't all L/19's have a brass core?

I think so, but I saw one for sale once that was all correct and described as magnetic. I asked the dealer to confirm, and he replied: "yes, it is magnetic. But it's been sold already." I suspect he was mistaken, but who knows? I've never seen another so described.
                        Best regards,

That is correct. Sorry if you felt singled out.

But in all fairness, I dont know if the seller really gets his things checked out by someone or if he was lying... It was maybe just something he said when I questioned one of his medals.
