I don't think this exact Juncker type is ever stamped 800. But similar ones by other makers are, and those are all private purchase types made any time 1914 -- 1945 I would say. Here's the closest you'll find to this type with silver content. Maker AWS, same core design, different frame, same hardware, marked 925 for sterling:

Note that imo the screwback disc on Stefan's cross is a replacement, as evidenced by the larger OD patina on the reverse.

The same evidence could be present if the wearer used a circular piece of fabric or leather to snug it tighter on the uniform IMO.
