Knight Cross - Any good?

Hello forum...

I was wondering if this Knights Cross is original?

I will post better photos later today.

It has .800 stamped on the frame. The "loop" also has .800 stamped that looks like a bent paper clip.

A magnet sticks to the center of the cross, but not to the paper clip looking loop attached to the mount.

Looks like a nice S&L A-Type IMO. Probably micro 800?

I found it yesterday at an estate sale (first day of sale).

It was in a glass case with other items near the cash register on the way out.

There were over priced tinnies and some wound badges.

There was a note that said: "German Knights Cross $500". This made me leary. But, I could not put it down, and didn't want to lose it in case it was original.

I knew the other items were original... but didn't want to get burned if it was bad.

I also bought an SA dagger for $300 (early but beat scabbard), and a Sports badge for $25.

On the KC, I asked if they would go lower. They said tomorrow (today) if it's still here it will be 50% off.

I said I will give you the $325 for the other items today.... but... can't make it tomorrow. "Would you give me the 50% off today?"

They said: "Okay." So, I have $250 into it.

I figured if the KC was bad, I would have only $100 into it... since the dagger and sports badge were a good deal ($150 less than I felt they are worth).
