    Thanks Douglas,

I have some Imperial crosses with 800 and 900 silver content. And, an AWS EKI, which theoretically has a silver obverse frame...

So, where does all this take my cross?
Frame and core wise, I am a bit confused at the moment.

Your cross is alright even with one-side bead flaw frame . From appearance I would say your cross is silverplated ... and that makes is more a early/mid period made cross . Can you get a weight and thickness on yours ?

Mine weights 20g, without the ribbon (on a not to accurate scale) and,
The frame is 1,3mm thick at the rim and and 4,3mm at the beading.
