But what I really wonder is, has anyone seen a zinc one with an L/12 mark?

            Or are all zincs unmarked?

            Thanks guys.

              Hi,

In your opinion, what would be the approximate manufacturing date (year) of an unmarked Juncker EK2 "2. form" zinc spange?

              Thanks,
              Robert

                Hi Robert,

Good question. I would say 1944-45, not earlier. The die used is the final type with the full quills or veins, and 2. Pattern datebox, so in my opinion it could not be earlier. Also zinc was the latest material used for many awards and badges.

All three 2. Pattern Juncker EK2 Spangen are extremely rare: half-quill tombak, full-quill tombak or zinc.
                Best regards,
                Streptile

                              Interesting zinc Junckers .
If the L/12 location on the 1st class is any indication , ... would it have been the same for the 2nd class ?
The large disks on the prongs could be covering it ... on the few that may have had one ?
