An interesting picture: period photo of the RK Formal award document presented to Feldwebel Willi Schultz. The picture was taken by a fellow pilot of the 6. Staffel of KG30 on the airport of Gilze-Rijen, Holland, 1940.

Schultz was awarded the KC for his successes against shipping in the Norwegian campaign, and in particular for scoring a hit on the British battleship "HMS Resolution", which forced the vessel to leave its area of operations at Narvik.

He died on November 19th, 1940 near Amsterdam.
