                      RK preliminary award document to Lt. General József Heszlényi
                      3rd Hungarian Army (magyar hadsereg)
                      Presented on: October 28th, 1944

                      A very rare document of an Hungarian Knights Cross holder.

                      On May 8, 1945 Heszlényi was captured by American troops and then sent to a POW camp in the Soviet Union where he cut his wrists with a razor blade on June 2, 1945.
