    The formal award document presented to Halder. I can't remember the original source (I know it's in the collection of author Bryan Rigg) and the only doubt that remains is the date...

    He was awarded the KC on 27.10.1939, but the document is dated 30.09.1939...

      And I wasn't sure about that document, until I saw the same one in a very old document about Hitler's Generals... It was in the family possession..

            This display of SS-Brigadeführer Heinz Harmel is currently present at the Airborne Museum Hartenstein (Oosterbeek). That helmet and decorations were donated by Harmel himself... but I cannot tell if that is his wartime KC

            If anyone knows more about that set, please share your knowledge here.
