Just to say the Junge preliminary doc is unfortunately a fake.
The Burgdorf signature, the rubber stamp and the diploma used are all incorrect.

This does not prevent you from keep on posting all these very interesting pictures.

Presented on: September 21st, 1944

Aperāts was one of a few Latvians awarded the Knight's Cross. He committed suicide in 1944 after been severely wounded.

This document is currently stored at the "Museum of the Occupation of Latvia", in Riga.

I've read somewhere that Regeniter only found out he was awarded the RK in the 1960s and he was presented with a 57 RK. So I'm guessing that's not his wartime piece..
