          I saw that DM stated that someone had bid 63K euro's as a starting bid for the 3/4 ring RK. So does Hemann Historica take the highest bid they have and start bidding from that point? Been to other auctions where if you placed a large bid they would let the floor start the bidding and you could get a piece lower than what you had left as your maximum.

            No, HH does not take the highest bid and start from that. They do it the same way as the other auctionhouses you described.
