Amazing auction but, can somebody see any "red flag" there? Maybe the lot number 5348? And what about the Spanish Crosses? (lots 5338, 39, 40) They seems stunning pieces.

The better question is, if all KC estates at this auction are all okay.
Did anyone see any red flags on one KC?

                  Cheers,

And if the groups belong together.
I would prefer solid history on such things.
But it is mostly not possible anymore I assume.
Now it is mostly told stories.
But anyhow I dont know more then what is shown in the catalog.
For the ss cloth section what is my field I am very disaponted.

                        The 3/4 Knights Cross of Werner Mölders, which had a starting price of € 8,000.- sold for € 63.000.- plus 23% = € 77,490.- . That is $ 100,737.- !!!

I do not think that this was an "investment buy" - somebody wanted to have it, bid € 63,000.- as the starting bid and he got it. We might never see it again! The whole group brought in € 734,000.-.

                              hi Dietrich,

when you say the whole group are you refering to Molders lot? or all RK holders?

                              best
