I just received this unmarked salty Deschler EKII. Comparing it to a marked Deschler EKII from the 'Deschler horde' I would say, IMO, that the cores of the two crosses are not made by the same die. What is your opinion, please?
First I'll post some photos of my newly received Deschler, then a side-by-side photo comparison of the unmarked and marked Deschler EKII cores for your evaluation. To make matters more complex I have one more Deschler EKII to add to this thread when it arrives in a week or two. And, feel free to add any Deschler core to the mix, whether it's an EKI or EKII. This thread ought to be interesting. I believe there are a few different standard Deschler cores. 'Standard' meaning anything other than a round 3 core.
