Introducing my EK family

Got back on the saddle of taking more pictures of the collection. Still playing with the camera, and it appears I cannot improve anymore in the technique. Ill have to keep on trying

Anyway, I FINALLY got insurance for the whole nine yards so now there is a sense of urgency in finalizing the pictures. For your enjoyment, here are the EK's.

First, how it is really up in the general display and a better view. You dont happen to have a Maker Marked JFS Silver IAB do you? The Bronze one is still looking for its partner. BTW, it has an immaculate packet as well. Just below are the AS Silver and Bronze PABs

And now, the whole family together. First up a 1914 EK1 w Carton and a 1939 Schinkel. I know, not much in the EK1 area, but I am concentrated in very specific ones. Any Round 3, Russian Horde, and / or one with carton 1939 EK 1's that you might be ready to let go, keep me in mind.

Thanks for the comments so far guys. Im still not done. Its just that Im minimizing the pics so they load faster. It is a bit time consuming. Ill be taking breaks here and there until im done. Im glad you guys are enjoying it so far.

EK1 Spange with Carton. Hard to upgrade. This is one of my pride and joy since the is a complete honest set. I brought this one to Gordon Williamson attention due to the controversy with this maker's carton. He gave it a ...That was a relief since there was that little nagging in the remote dungeons of my head. Believe me, its not pretty in there

And now....to the EK2's part. First, the whole Imperial set and the obverse view of the 1870 one. I originally bought it with a post 1870 / pre 1914 case, but being the purist I am I sold it. I figured someone else would get more enjoyment out of it than I. Eventually I hope I can add the Prinzengross of the 1870 and 1914 and of cours an 1813. That is way down the road, though.

More of 1870's. Reverse of the 1870 and obverse of the 1870 w 25 years spange. Sadly the reverse of the 1870 has some rust. Not too bad for an 150 year old item, though. I just dont recall if it was in that condition when I got it. Ill have to double check previous pictures if I have any. One way or another I am considering taking it out of the current display and put it in the curio since I have larger dehumidifier pearls cases rather than the small bags in the pressure display one. This is all in addition to the room dehumidifier. Got to love this coastal Florida humidity. I learn the hard way the first year in Florida how bad it can hurt our items. Hope this story avoids someone else the pain.
