Thanks for the comment Streptile. I forgot to add that piece of information. Just to please you......here I keep it coming. I tried to get the mark of the 1914 the best I could, but it didnt work too well. It is one of the rarest marks out there. I was lucky enough to win it in an ebay auction of all places. I was running lucky by first finding it and then winning it. Hope someone can use for reference in the future. As for the bar, once again, luck was on my side that day, i got it in the estand just a minute after it was posted. I had been after one of those for years prior to that day.

Last 1914 and running into the transition to 1939, the 1914 w 1939 spange. My grail on these is finding one in an LDO matchbox. A box was recently sold in the estand, but I shied away from the price, and I lived to regret it. Have only had three times the opportunity to acquire one and still no luck. One of these days.

What is the rare stamp on the EK2? Can't quite read it.

The EK2 Combo is a B.H. Mayer Spange on a J. Godet EK2 with its unmistakable shape.
              Best regards,

No, nothing wrong with your eyes. This is the 3rd one Ive owned and didnt have another of the same maker to compare at the time. I relied on the dealer's reputation on that one. After further research, you are right. In case anyone would like to follow my process, when I see an item that does not look right to me I PM the person directly and state with detailed information why I think that is so. That avoids the multiple follow ups of some that just parrot the without supporting evidence.

Thanks for pointing this one out to me. I contacted the dealer and will all let you know how it goes.

                        Peace

                          Hello John,
I think I know that type well because happened to me too, mine it 's at home..
The bad thing is that the seller still sell them in a couple of sites after 2 years that I have explained he sold me a fake..

Thanks for the information Streptile. I was getting ready to ask about that. In regards to the WW1 the maker is JFS.

Here is the rest of the 1939 EK 2's. First the Schinkel. I was lucky enough to find it in such good condition at Philipps Militaria. Excellent dealer to deal with by the way.

Well, the upload is not working at this time and I just saw that another member had already replied about the JWS marking. Thanks. Pics to come later.
