Good day gentlemen,
I looked many times at this particular DKiG, but never pulled the trigger, mainly for lacking funds.
Then when funds finally came into place, luckily it came up again for a very affordable and fair price.
So I bought it ..... a heavily worn DKiG made by Godet ( 6 rivet heavy version ).
Even though the swastika has damaged core and pin is replaced ( wartime ), this particular DKiG just oozes history.
As understood from the vendor, it came directly from the Bodewig family.
No supporting documents, but apparently this particular DKiG belonged to Hauptmann Heinz Bodewig.

But even without the name, the DKiG speaks for itself .... and I do like it very much .
Thanks for looking,
Mathijs
