I wanted to show you my two new Jucker DKiG. The first one is a very early piece and was awarded on 24th of December 1941. It has some damage to the enamel, but that gives the cross a very nice character.

the second one is a later piece, and is much lighter than the cross first shown. It was discussed some days before and i promised to show pictures of it.

The earliest Type I wreath German Cross by Juncker I have documented is November 29, 1941. The weight should be around 52 gr.

Hi Dietrich,
when i read your comment about the weight i had to check my cross since it felt much heavier in my hand than 52gr. And indeed the early weights 67gramms! It was either awarded on 24th of December 1941 or 23rd of August 1942. I still have to check that but i think the first date is the right one.
The other cross weights 46,7 gr.
What do you guys think when the second cross was made? Beginning of 1943?

You are right - I was looking in the wrong column. Should be around 63-66 gr.
The second one is the far more common Type 2 and was made before the introduction of the PKZ number, around end 42/spring 43.Comment

How ugly the Juncker made DKiG! IMO
And juncker bad DK processings made the enamel easy to be broken and different weight for each. My minty Juncker is weighted near 62g, not close to a focusing weight. For example the light zimmermann is around 45g.
Original the 1st one, but still reserve my personal opinion on the 2nd one .

Your first Juncker is very rare, which must be considered more rarer then 6 rivets short pin by Deschler!! My friend, a DK fan, says he has 25-30 examples 6 rivets short pin by Deschler in datebase, but only 6 examples of this type by Juncker besides yours.
So keep the first one! It is very very rare!! and no dispute!!
Your cross is original and looks very nice but the bad enamel as we always see.
The second one:
IMO the most light version DKiG, for example, Deschler, Godet...appeared in1943.
