        I still have my first EKII.

        Maker marked 128.

        It was in the stuff my father brought back from the War.

          MY first EKII was a 65 which I bought in 1969 as a boy with my pocket money!

          Can't remember how much I paid, but it would not have been more than £5 (those were the days ). Sadly, I no longer own it.

            I still have my first EKII and it is still my favorite one-It was a L/11 bought from a small antique shop-I had no idea what it was I just liked the looks of it.

              So here are mine in some old photos. Unmarked 65 EK2, and marked 65 EK1. As I said the EK1 is now sold (to a friend), but it was my first ever.

                  My Cherry popper was a unmarked but packeted J.E. Hammer & Söhne piece bought in 2007 from the LST site... Buying it brought me to this forum and I subsequently met one of my Best collector Friends while discussing it here!

                  I still have the cross and packet.

                    The first cross purchase were these 2 in 1974 both coin silver - a E&L EK2 and a L59 EK1 . Graf Kleinau Auktion Haus - Consignment section - in München , Germany . Was leaving Berchtesgaden for Wien-Vienna , ... so dropped in Munich quickly to pick up a pair of crosses - as a 'one time thing momentum' . Many were for sale , but ended up taking the most exspensive pair as I was advised that they were the 'not common silver type' . 280 Deutsch Mark was 3 times the price for any other 2 normal ones . Being new at it - so what the hell , ... not like I was going to be buying more of them ever !!
                    Just 2 realy -> ...... 6 ....... 24 ........ 52 .......

                      The first EK in my collection was an unmarked K&Q. It was awarded to my father and given to me after he passed away.
