I still have my first EK II which is an unmarked 11 too.

My first was a unmarked 60 Katz & Deyhle EKII that I bought at a military surplus store 25 years ago. Maybe it was marked once, but unfortunately the ring has been replaced.

In fact, this was my first TR item and the very beginning of my collectors career.

It's still in my collection.

My first ek1 mm 65, ek2 mm100. Both had to go sadly
Unfortunately to advance my collection, sentiment cannot come into it for me. If I had more money it could. The ek2 was my first TR item.

I bought my first ek from Detlev Niemann probably 20 years ago and i still have it. Its an unmarked 65 in mint condition.

And for that it will always be the star in my collection.

My first EKII was a "25" MMed cross. The first EKI was a MMed "6" Zimmermann. Both, sadly, have moved on. I LOVED the Zimmmermann. The "25" is one of the makers, for me, that can be very nice and some are just plain jane crosses.

Both were key in acquiring the Godets and Junckers I have now that I so covet!

i have mine, EK2 S&L factory unfinished, (no ring) Family VET bring back (North Africa but iam not sure if he got into Europe) i guess it was bartered and exchanged with other soldiers, as lots of the things were obviously taken from factories, Panzer skulls, cloth patches, and lots of various bank notes from North Africa which i have had since they were passed to me at 15 years old, 15 years ago....

My first was an unmarked S&L , when it arrived the frame was in two halves almost, I was so dissapointed. Probably the Gablonz mtehod I kept telling myself. I still have it!
