I know of only unmagnetic EK2 Juncker, but this EK2 is unmagnetic.
    What do they mean?

      Hi Johnny.

In my opinion this cross are good, but I can place a maker on it right now.
I'm using my phone, so the pics are not so big.
      More makers made non-magnetic crosses.

Wait for a few other opinions.

        Hello Johnny
there were just a few manufacturers that produced zinc cored EKIIs, but honestly I don't recognize who was for this cross.

In my opinion this could be a postwar S&L. Anyway I would not buy it because of my own uncertainty.

Makers of wartime non-magnetic EK2s included:

          2
          3 (Schinkels)
          86
          L/15
          unknown maker Schinkel (IMO Assmann)
          unknown maker Schinkel 2

...and maybe more. Who did I forget?
          Best regards,

Johnny, I think the lack of replies was caused by the pictures.
It is hard to see the date, one of the things that you have to see to identify a cross.

              I'm with Trevor, I also think it's a post-war S&L

                Hi Johnny :
Had a look at that one and to me it is a good war time made S&L .
I have been asked by a few members here if I know which post war crosses S&L made . I have worked on war time S&Ls exclusively . Post war S&L crosses do exit and have only started on a closer look to see what possibly could be post war . A very difficult task that will take alot of time yet . Sofar one peculiar core and one deffinate frame are good candidates amongst some other remote posibilities . Right now I can say that many of these immediate post war crosses will not be identifyable .
S&L used 2 different frames with Zink cores ; Johnny's ( later war) and the 2nd one shown which I think Robert Pierce once owned (early war).

And the - to me a post war S&L - same frame but different core , as Johnny's ... which does not appeare to be the same Ni aloy material ? Frame die is bad and very worn with cracks through the corners and a strange core . Think a re-activated die with a post war core .
