    The stipling of the two crosses is not always the same also, IMHO. I can also see some drastic differences in die details (arrows). However, that does not necessarily mean they are NOT the same, one would need to compare hands on and not with such pictures which clearly show significant differences. I know of enough cases where one object was judged either way based on different pictures.
    But I also trust Gordon't judgement and at this point in time I certainly believe that Craig's cross is genuine.

        Yes, Jimmy. That is the now-famous cross that is featured in a joint article by Dietrich and myself, published in his magazine (available now, from Dietrich).

          Thanks Craig.......I have already ordered a copy. I think I am going to subscribe as well as go back and pick up those first three issues. Just waiting too see if it is as good as everyone says it is.......Best Jimmy

              Is that cross going to be for sale or are you going too try and preserve the group. It would be a shame to separate them after all these years, but understandable.........Jimmy

                I can't afford to keep the group together - too many varied interests. But every piece comes with a copy of the certificate from the veteran, a copy of the audio recording interview, etc. At least that way, it can be preserved in a way. The cross will be for sale, but contact me if interested - I don't want this thread to become a commercial.
