No. I was going to get it as part of a trade. But I think I will pass now.

I agree, it's a copy , from material, design , rivets, catch.....

It is on a dealers site for $2800.00. Either he knows it is fake and he is waiting for an unsuspecting buyer or he is a moron who doesn't know the artifacts that make up his business. The description of the item on his site states that it has passed all the tests with flying colors!

I would rather not. I will say that the dealer has already been bashed on this site before so I am sure some people can do a little detective work and discover who it is.

On another note, what are the best sites to see German militaria that is undoubetdly real. I found only a couple good sites. One from Sweden, and one from England. I am especially interested in headgear, that is soft caps, not helmets.
