It's the first spange I've seen with this added row of feathers. Do any stickpins have this feature?

I'd say the swaz is uglier than the eagle. I don't like it either.

I can't see why a manufacture would add an extra set of feathers on the wings.

It certainly is a strange looking piece and for a reasonable enough price might be fun to add as a conversation/research piece. But, I at least, wouldn't spend that amount of euros for it.

Guys, the spange in question is 16mm and unprecedented as far as I know. As for different design, I've got the 9mm version which is a dead-ringer for the full sized version. It also clearly shows a nice oak-leaves wreath, the wreath seen here resembles laurel-leaves.
