    Spange

It's the first spange I've seen with this added row of feathers. Do any stickpins have this feature?

    Robert

Robert, none of mine has this characteristic. Jim

Looks like a large ribbon bar eagle, 2 prongs only, hard to see any claws..

I'd say the swaz is uglier than the eagle. I don't like it either.

Still don't like it. It looks all wrong.
I can't see why a manufacture would add an extra set of feathers on the wings.

It certainly is a strange looking piece and for a reasonable enough price might be fun to add as a conversation/research piece. But, I at least, wouldn't spend that amount of euros for it.

If I may add something off topic here :
.... just because of it's constant occurance : There are two members here ( Greg been one them ) - who's topic notifications always show up 2 times in my Email every time they post on threads I have subscribed to ?
Not the correct place for this question .... just curious - why is this happening ??

It happens here from time to time as well, up to 3 notifications in a row...

@blutundehre: the eagle beats the swas hands down in uglyness IMO

Guys, the spange in question is 16mm and unprecedented as far as I know. As for different design, I've got the 9mm version which is a dead-ringer for the full sized version. It also clearly shows a nice oak-leaves wreath, the wreath seen here resembles laurel-leaves.

                              cheers

                                Hi Ben
I guess it's like picking a beauty queen between two pigs. Nothing good to say about either.
