Can't say I've ever seen one of these either.

It's so ugly it's got to be good.

Then again what do I know.

I have doubts. A Prinzen First Class on a ribbon?

I'm thinking a stick pin 'conversion' at best
but I don't think I've ever seen that style stickpin either?
              interesting

I am having a hard time believing this is original....
Even if it is a converted stickpin.

It reminds me of Gonzo the Great

Maybe someone should ask Weitze where he acquired this fine item.

The design says 1st class, but I highly doubt that they made those in prizen size.
                    Just my opinion.

                      Spange

I saw this one also and thought that is an ugly duckling and couldn't place it as original. Jim

Is this not the size for the full size ribbon or medal bar? I have a number of variations, for medal and ribbon bars. I think this one is fine and just another version by a maker with which we are not acquainted.

                          Hi Bob,

I'm not sure if the EK1 Spange was properly worn on the ribbon bar or medal bar. Do you have photos of one in wear?

I rather suspect this is, as Jon mentioned, a stickpin upgrade, but I would be happy to be proven wrong and learn something new.
                          Best regards,

It's the first spange I've seen with this added row of feathers. Do any stickpins have this feature?
