    There are a lot of theories about Deschler making both frame-types.
    I think it's more logical that they sold core to an other maker.
    All Deschler crosses, including the round3 ek1, have the typical Deschler frame, even the early ones with the ww1 style thin tapered pin.

    I don't think the " unknown maker ek1 crosses are Deschler, it's not logical to use different dies in the first 1 1/2 year and then use one die over the rest of the years.
    For me that doesn't add up.
