Retail sale of DKs was never permitted. Retail sale of RK went on until mid 1941 after which it was forbidden. Steinhauer & Luck price for an RK was RM34.50 with Oakleaves at RM13.50.
S&L 1940 (pre LDO) price for an EK1 was RM7, so the price controls brought in by the LDO resuted in quite a lowering of prices.
