German Cross Fake??

I cam across this German cross. Can you guys tell me anything about it, fake, reproduction, etc?

I found this one for a good price, but I am not sure how much they normally cost.

IMO the details on the wealth looks ok, maybe a close up of the "1941" would help.

In the photo (at least on my screen) the background looks to be brownish-tan. If it is really army feldgrau, then it would be more common.

field gray is most common ... DAK can be hard to find. $800 sounds about right.

It is original and looks like standard Heer field grey to me - the moth damage reduces the price- $400 is about right IMO

Better you first confirm the background color with the seller before you count your money....

It is real IMHO and I think the background is dark khaki.

I went on many websites that talked about the cloth german cross, but none of them talked about a khaki or brown color backed version. They only said field gray for wehrmacht,ss~blue for luftwaffe~black for armoured~and a marine blue for navy.

So, what is this khaki or brown color everybody is asking about?
