Seems like much silence from the son. It would be interesting to hear the story from the sons point of view and what he knew about this, and im am in no way suggesting he is not a good person, just would be interesting to hear what he knows, and the inside scoop post fiasco in retrospect being behind the scenes at the time. Regardless of what he knows . Oh the stories some here could tell , maybe on their death beds, or in a letter for after they are deceased ..
Back to the mappe issues....they were hand filled in from a lightly printed sheepskins, supposedly by art students. To examine one in person close up, the human error factor is very noticible. Although after a certain date they were not presented or produced , as i suspect they thought they would win and , they would later award them after they won the war. Some were hidden as mine was in a building , like others were in caves with other loot.
