Go to the fake's and reproduction section in the Association Members only section and there is reproduction 20 which looks similar if not the same as this badge ?
Could this badge be one of them I wonder ! It's strange but it looks very similar to my excelent fake 134, esp the rivets of all things, they look like my fakes rather than the example in Gordons book.
Kind regards,
Marcus
PS Sorry in my ignorance I can't do links, because I don't know how too.

It is very hard to say anything about the authentication from these pics. I agree with Dez that you need a lot of closeups and the dimensions of the DKiG.
This DKiG looks very minty to me.
The fakes are getting very good and I would never buy a DKiG from these pics especially as there is no money back guarantuee.
A respectable dealer would always offer a money back guarantuee.

Detailed pics of the cross would always help...but I see nothing wrong with that one at all. If the piece is right, I wouldn't necessarily shy away from an "all sales final" situation, especially from a private seller. He might just be doing that to protect himself from having to cough up several thousand dollars because of buyer's remorse...who knows. In the antique store world, "all sales final" is pretty standard. I would judge the piece itself. I would try to make this deal in person though if possible (not sure what your exact situation is on this)

I am far too cynical these days and would definitely like to see better pics, preferably some close ups and taken in natural light as opposed to with a bright flash. Anything that minty merits the full 'Mr Cynical' inspection.
